Reuse: Giving items a second life is crucial. Instead of discarding them, we find new purposes for them. This can involve repurposing containers, using old textiles as cleaning rags, passing on unwanted items, or repairing items instead of replacing them.
Recycle: Transforming waste into new products is the final piece of the puzzle. This includes recycling materials like paper, plastic, glass, and metal, composting organic waste, and ensuring proper sorting for efficient recycling.

We choose the packaging for our Quaver&Lyric candles and melts with care to ensure the packaging is just sufficient to preserve their fragrance during storage.

Our melts are supplied in compostable display bags which are made using 80% sustainable materials.
When shipping orders to you, we strive to use the least amount of material possible, while ensuring products arrive undamaged.
Reuse:
Our scented candles in glass containers are designed to be re-purposed as part of your home decor after the candle has burned. You can find out how to do this here.
We actively reuse incoming packaging materials. For example, Benji, our office assistant (a cat with exquisite taste), contributes by providing us with his emptied Encore fishy cat food boxes.
We reuse any plastic packaging that comes our way, giving it a second life.
Recycle:
All of our Quaver&Lyric candles and melts are packaged in recyclable materials
We also prioritize recyclable and compostable materials for our outgoing shipments.
To recycle the candle boxes just remove and dispose of the label in your household waste and place the kraft box in your home recycling.
Compostable Packaging:
While paper and cardboard recycling rates are around 69%, plastic recycling is only about 44%. To combat this, we use compostable mailers from Simplelifeco, which break down into nutrient-rich compost in industrial facilities or home composting. After you receive your order, you can easily dispose of the eco mailer in your food waste collection bin or add it to your home compost. You can find out more on their website.
