The Paris 2024 Olympic Games will once again feature the captivating world of equestrian sports. From the elegance of dressage to the heart-pounding excitement of eventing, these disciplines showcase the incredible partnership between horse and rider. The equestrian games are taking place in the stunning grounds of the Palace of Versaille just outside Paris.
The equestrian events at the Paris 2024 Olympics will include three core disciplines: Dressage: Often described as "horse ballet," dressage emphasizes precision, harmony, and athleticism between horse and rider.Eventing: A demanding three-phase competition combining dressage, cross-country, and show jumping, testing both horse and rider's versatility and endurance.Jumping: Showcasing power, agility, and precision, jumping involves navigating a course of obstacles within a specified time.
The equestrian events at the Paris 2024 Olympics will take place from July 27th to August 6th. The events are scheduled to take place on the following days:
Dressage
4th August Individual Grand Prix Freestyle Final
Eventing
29th August Team and Individual Showjumping
